Kunane's 45th Birthday Sept 2012

Nothing better than a Birthday especially when it Kunane's, mostly cause he is such a good sport.  As you will see with the upcoming pictures, Kunane was very patient as the kids sprayed him with silly string repeatedly.
They got to ask him questions about themselves and if he got it wrong they could spray him.  Lots of fun--for the kids anyway.

See the look on Jace's face.  That is pure joy-lol!!!

Desiree and Shellece got together pictures of the kids with Kunane and then Shellece made a book and a collage picture for him.  The pictures were pretty amazing.  Sure shows how time flies.  There are pictures with
Davinn at the age of 8 and Channing 5 and Bayler 1 year old.  Hard to believe he has been around that long.  Pretty neat to see the relationship he has had with them for years.

Could have had a house fire had we let this one get away from us.  Lots of hot air though as he was able to blow them all out.

Soccor Fun 2012

I am the worst Grandma when it comes to games of any kind.  It isn't that I don't like to go, its that I forget ever to go or to take my camera.  These are the only pictures I have for the whole season.  They aren't even good pictures except for one of Landon.

More fun with Kunane summer 2012

There really isn't much too say about any of these pictures.  The kids never tire of playing with Kunane in his back yard.  But he has to be there cause its just not fun without him.

Special summer time with two of my sons

I got the opportunity to spend some time with these two sons of mine.  It was a very relaxing time and I think enjoyable.  We stayed at the Ideal Beach Resort and had a very nice room.  Kellen didn't stay very long and I was worried that Chan would be bored with just me to hang out with but such was not the case.  He was a really good sport and we had a fun time.  We played cards, watched movies and worked on a hard puzzle.  All in all it was a fun week.  We borrowed Kunane's wave runners so that was the high light of the week for the boys.

So when you see this video on the blog it is black but it is there I promise.  Just press on the start button.

The boys would ride for 45 minutes and then come out and sit here for an hour and look for girls.  No such luck cause as you can see we had the beach to ourselves.  It was off season so no girls.  I didn't feel too bad though about it!!!

I put these birds on here not because we really needed a picture but because I know when Chan and Kellen see the picture they will laugh.  They tormented these birds for hours with food and chasing them up and down the beach.  Now I know what guys do when there are no girls for entainment.

Both boys were pretty put out with me over the puzzle I picked for us to do.  I didn't really think about the puzzle being puppies, I only thought about that they were dogs--you know, boys and dogs.  But it was fun anyway and it was pretty hard to do but we got it put together and glued in time.

Finished product--isn't it just darling (bad word to use, thats why they didn't like the puzzle--just too cute).

Summer days

I gave all my married children gift certificates to the Anniversary Inn with the promise that I would watch their children while gone.  So it was Marshall and Danielles week-end.  We had such a good time.  We roasted hot dogs and marshmellows over a camp fire and forgot to get pictures.  The kids were very good and I enjoyed having them at my home.

The next day Kunane came over and so did all the local grandkids.  The children never tire of playing with him.  The little one on the bottom is Clay and then Tylee.

Now we have added Avery to the top.

Tylee talked Kunane into making a rope swing in his back yard.  It has been such a hit.  Everyone could go so high.  I think this is Gage but not positive.

Tenaya was scared to get on the swing and didn't for a long time.  Then I told her that Kunane would only push her as high as she wanted to go.  She faced her fears and did.  At first she just went really slow and not very high.  But by the end of the day she was yelling "Higher, Higher".

Everyone is looking at the top because they think there are branches that is keeping them from swinging really high.

As you can see Kunane  is wrapped around all these little kids finger.  He will do anything they ask.  So up he goes with his trusty saw and proceeds to take down the branches that are holding everyone from go super, super high.

It was nice having Kellen out here with us.  He actually had a good time too.  He really enjoyed with the kids.

Gage being 'Cool Joe" as usual only this time he has the props.

When Tenaya first looked at this picture she said "Look Kunane is going to sling shot Clay into the air".  After I looked I agreed, it did look just like that.

Now this is a for real laugh.  Isn't it beautiful.  I don't even remember what Tanner was laughing about but it sure was one happy guy.  Gotta love it!!!
