This is my youngest group. My only group with no girls and they didn't seem to mind. We were very excited to have Abron with us because we don't get to see him much. The boys got to know him much better. I was very proud of them--no fighting or arguing. They just all got along very well. They saved me a ton of money too. We were going to camp but it has been so hot that I opted out of that. So I got a motel room and then gave them a couple choices of activities. I said we could go to the movies and out to eat or stay in the motel and order pizza and just swim. They chose the later.
Before going to the motel we stopped and got ice cream cones and they all wanted dipped cones. It was so hot that they had a hard time keeping it licked up.

Trevyn knows how to relax. Anytime he got cold I could count on finding him sprawled out on the cement sunning himself.

Every year we get a puzzle and put it together and then glue it. This is this groups first puzzle and it was way too easy for them. I was worried we wouldn't have enough time to get it put together so only got a 60 piece puzzle. Probably took them 30 minutes to put it together.

I hid 5 bags with treats it them. Every once in awhile I would blow a horn and they would have to look for it. Landon thinks he is pretty smart here, being the first one to find the first bag. It had a huge pack of gum in it for each boy.
The motel room had two queen beds and this pull out couch. Wouldn't you know they all wanted to be on the pull out. I didn't let them all sleep on it though just let them watch

The boys decided to be nerds for the day (actually for a few minutes). I think this is one of my favorite pictures.
It ended up that Landon found all the bags except the one that Trevyn found. He was good though, he didn't brag or make a big deal out of it. No one even complained about it. What good sports.!!!
I decided it would be fun to take the city bus to the fun park. That would have been great except that the bus was very late coming to get us at the transit center. Do they look bored or what (other than Abron)?
